Steelhead
Elusive - that's the word that best describes our most difficult-to-catch fish. Our response is superb steelhead guides, guides that have been featured on several TV shows, guides who fish almost every day of the year. We guarantee the quality of our steelhead guides. Take advantage of our steelhead specials from February to May with our walk-and-wade trips or with our raft. Very good to combine with our wilderness fishing, trout fishing or a day of guided sturgeon fishing. On many occasions we fish for rainbow- cutthrout- and bull trout at the same time with a chance of hooking into some trophy steelhead and perhaps early salmon. Timing is everything when it comes down to steelhead fishing and even skilled anglers patience will be tested.
We catch steelhead regulary in the 8-14 lbs range with some in the 20 lbs. range.
Trout
British Columbia Trout Fishing is spectacular in our area year round. The species of trout we fish for are cutthrout, rainbow and bull trout. We offer anything from rivers, streams, lakes, private lakes for groups and corporations, jet boat trout fishing, walk and wade, fly-and spin as well as driftfishing and rafting trips in order to get to the reach hard spots. Our guiding record breaker weights in at 15 lbs. Come and see yourself. We also offer lakes with wild rainbow trout of which some of them don`t even have a name. They are located around our valley and are mostly off limits to anybody else because of the difficult terrain in order to reach those lakes. Some lakes are only accessable by helicopter and you will be the only angler to fish in them – perhaps the only angler in an entire year to be exposed to some of our secret lakes.
We further offer private lakes with fantastic rainbow trout in the 3 lbs. range with trophies up to 6 lbs. – Those lakes are fly-fishing only and catch and release.
Wilderness Fly Fishing Camp
During spring time we are offering a wilderness fly fishing camp in the middle of nowhere surrounded by breathtaking nature. This once if a lifetime wilderness experience is offered exclusive to only a small group of anglers at a time in order to keep it as exclusive as possible. We will be fly fishing for 3 species of trout and char plus there is a chance of catching some steelhead and king salmon (Chinook) when fishing the faster waters or hitting the pool they rest in on their way upstream. This is for fly anglers who want nothing but nature pure and fish a river as wild as British Columbia. We are running rapids, shallows, canyons and fish a diversity of waters, from romantic pools on side channels to the main stream and runs you normally see only on TV. The camp is located on a spot on the river where you can fish before and after your guiding day. Guests have their private tents, cooking and eating takes place in an outfitter tent and our guides have their separate quarters. To guarantee your taste buds are spoiled, we have a real chef preparing mouth watering gourmet food while you are out fishing.
