Freshwater Salmon Fishing in BC
Salmon Fishing on the Fraser River is equivalent with the longest salmon season in the world and has the largest number of migrating salmon anywhere on the planet.
We offer many fish methods for salmon from spin to fly fishing, bait fishing, spoon and float fishing, bar fishing or back trolling. Whatever you prefer and catches fish – we are game for it.
King Salmon
Also called Chinook Salmon, Tyee or Spring Salmon. Many of our regular guests concentrate on this largest species of salmon. What started for many of our customers with a trip "... once in my life ..." ended with an annual visit with us.Our guiding record weighs in at 68 lbs. We offer several rivers and runs to concentrate on those strong and powerful fish from June to October. Choose from fly-fishing, walk and wade, backtrolling, spoon fishing, bar fishing, cast and retrieve, float, bait, bottom or drift fishing.

Sockeye Salmon
Also called "Red Salmon" by our American friends. Popular for it's deep red meat. Available in several of our rivers from mid July to mid September. A hard fighting fish known for it's acrobatic jumps. Choose between fly-fishing, cast and retrieve and float fishing. They grow to trophy size in some of our rivers. Our guiding record weights in at 13.5 lbs.
Coho Salmon
Our American friends know them as "Silver Salmon". One of the most sought fish species in the world. When it comes to coho salmon fishing, the experience of your guide will decide in between "the scenery was nice" or "a fantastic fishing trip". Our guiding record weights in at 21 lbs. We have THE expert guides when it comes to coho fishing in several different rivers, streams and river system. We catch them regulary on the fly, spinning gear, with bait, spoons, spinners, float- and drift fishing. We have superb fly-fishing guides, specialized on coho salmon. We enter river systems, where others can't due to our custom built boats.
Chum Salmon
When it comes to fish for the large "dog salmon", make sure you've had enough "muesli" for breakfast. Chum salmon are brutal in their fights. You can hook them on the fly or with spinning gear, drifting, on the float, bait, spoon or spinner and they will take it. We offer several different rivers in order to concentrate to fight with raw power. Bring your heavy fly-fishing gear or spey rod - you'll need it. Our guiding record weights in at 35 lbs and is the unofficial world record. You can expect a daily average of 12-16 lbs. with daily hook ups in the 20 lbs. plus range. Best time is mid September to the end of November.
