Fly-Fishing British Columbia
We offer year round fly-fishing adventures in the Fraser River Valley, and are blessed with mild temperatures and fly-fishing opportunities on many different rivers, streams & lakes. Our newest addition to our portfolio is the scenic Lillooet River. A wilderness river seldom fished by others due to the fact that only highly specialized, custom-built boats can cross the 44 mile long Harrison Lake. That means you will travel in comfort on one of our custom-built jet boats. After crossing the lake with its endless bays, waterfalls, snow capped mountains and wildlife we enter a different scenery - from the wide lake into narrow canyons surrounded by mountains.
Some of our guests get very emotional during this wilderness trip as the feeling to best describe it is - 'Goosebumps'. If you are a nature lover and want to fish/photograph/spend time in surroundings best described as "super-natural", then we highly recommend a day on one of our wilderness rivers. We will barbecue a shore lunch for you on an open fire in the middle of nowhere.Fly fishing in the Fraser Valley for salmon and trout is considered to be some of the best in the province. Fly fishing for salmon begins in August with sockeye salmon and continues through until late November. Between August and November we fly fish for Sockeye salmon, Pink salmon, Coho salmon and Chum salmon. The very best time to fly fish for salmon is between mid September and mid November.
Choose between our unique selection of wilderness fly-fishing packages not offered anywhere in British Columbia. This is for the serious fly-fisherman who expects nothing less than an extraordinary experience. The Fraser Valley also offers good Trout fishing throughout the year. The Cutthroat trout are the dominant species but there are also good opportunities for Rainbow, Dolly Varden and Steelhead. Best times to fish for trout vary on species, cutthroat trout season which runs from October to April is world class! The best fishing for cutthroat is in Spring and Winter, Dolly Varden during the Fall when salmon are spawning and steelhead is best in early spring (March/April).
Wilderness Fly Fishing Camp
During spring time we are offering a wilderness fly fishing camp in the middle of nowhere surrounded by breathtaking nature. This once if a lifetime wilderness experience is offered exclusive to only a small group of anglers at a time in order to keep it as exclusive as possible. We will be fly fishing for 3 species of trout and char plus there is a chance of catching some steelhead and king salmon (Chinook) when fishing the faster waters or hitting the pool they rest in on their way upstream. This is for fly anglers who want nothing but nature pure and fish a river as wild as British Columbia. We are running rapids, shallows, canyons and fish a diversity of waters, from romantic pools on side channels to the main stream and runs you normally see only on TV. The camp is located on a spot on the river where you can fish before and after your guiding day. Guests have their private tents, cooking and eating takes place in an outfitter tent and our guides have their separate quarters. To guarantee your taste buds are spoiled, we have a real chef preparing mouth watering gourmet food while you are out fishing.
